An integrated arts program includes crafts, drawing, painting, sculptre, and myriad other media.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION, grades1-8
Kinesthetics, nutrition, dance, sports, and personal reflection are components of our updated PE program.

MUSIC, grades 1-6
Sound, theater, and visual art are integrated through music into the theme studies program. An after-school instrumental program is offered through a partnership with Johns Hopkins University.

LIBRARY STUDIES, grades 1-6
Reading aloud and encouraging selection of engaging personal reading are a key to our library program, which is reinforced through a visiting authors program.

ENCORE PROGRAMS
A wide range of after-school, evening, and summer programs provide enrichment in areas of special interest to children at all grade levels. These are presented by members of the GMS Parent Cooperative, and by specialists in the greater community that donate time and talents to our school.
