1. Gather the largest violets, the smallest pansies, or any sized johnnie-jump-ups. (These are all of the genus Viola.)
MAKE SURE THAT THEY ARE ALL FROM A CLEAN PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!

2. Rinse them gently and carefully set on a paper towel to dry.

3. Whip 1 egg white 'til frothy.

4. Take a clean paintbrush and use eggwhite to paint it on both sides.

5. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and set on wax paper to dry.

They will dry in a day or two. Use to decorate cakes and other foods.
