Annual Fund 2011-12
Thank you to our many generous donors to the last year's Annual Fund! We achieved our goal of $15,000 and feel certain that with your support we will attain this year’s goal of $18,000. A visit to our school will show the direct benefit of your Annual Fund dollars. We have a beautiful new Learning Cottage housing three well-appointed classrooms, newly decorated conference room for meeting with prospective families, additional science microscopes and scales, and a refurbished shed to house our gardening and Explorations equipment. An important beneficiary of the Annual Fund is our tuition assistance program. Twenty percent of GMS families receive financial aid. Gifts to the Annual Fund directly benefit the students, teachers and families of The GreenMount School. Although tuition revenue and co-op support cover a large majority of our budget needs, we rely on our fundraising for several important additions to our program. This year we look to your Annual Fund gifts to support our plans for a complete technology overhaul, and to expand our student gardens. Annual Fund dollars will go toward interactive classroom technology with the goal of technology in each classroom, gardening tools, and financial aid for deserving families. Ways to Give
We are approved by the Federal and Maryland State combined charities to accept donations through their program for Federal and State employees. In both cases we are listed as Family Learning, Inc.
