Welcome to The GreenMount School website. I am thrilled that you decided to learn more about this wonderful school. As our motto says, “Have Wisdom, Will Fly.” When you walk through the building, you will see students engaged in learning and excited to be here.

Since our founding in 1993, when the school was established by six parents who wanted to create a creative, experiential learning environment for students in kindergarten through eighth grade, we have continued to grow. However, we remain true to our core values: a school where students can explore, learn from each other, and grow into the thinkers and leaders who keep our lives evolving and our world moving.

The GreenMount School understands the importance of relationships and that, in order for students to be their best selves at school, they have to form bonds with the adults in the community. Faculty and staff take time to truly know students as individuals, and each student’s educational journey is valued as much as the destination.
