Application Deadlines
Applications for the 2026-2027 school year will open in October. A completed application is due by December 17, 2025, to be considered for the first round of acceptances. Applications received after December 17, 2025, will be considered for the second round.

Application Process
- RSVP to a Glimpse of GreenMount, an open house, or schedule a private tour with the Director of Admissions.
- Complete and submit an application and fee by December 17, 2025, to be considered for the first round of acceptances to The GreenMount School. Applications received after December 17, 2025, will be considered for the second round.
- The application will ask you to submit a Common Referral Form to your child’s current teacher(s).
- The form is due by January 16 and must come directly from the current school or daycare provider.
- Students applying for admission into grades 6–8 must have two completed Common Referral Forms (from two different teachers).
- If your child is not currently enrolled in a school or daycare setting, an external adult (i.e. sports coach, tutor, music teacher, etc.) who knows the child can fill out the form in lieu of a classroom teacher.
- Arrange a Shadow Day for your child. The following is included as part of the day:
- Paired with a student ambassador
- Spend time in the classroom
- Complete assessments (grades 1-5)
- Students applying to grades 6-8 must take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) or submit test results from standardized testing, MAP, ERB, etc., taken within the last 12 months. Students will complete an essay during their shadow day.
- Note: The Shadow Day is not applicable to kindergarten applicants. Kindergarten applicants sign up for a play date and assessment in January 2025.
- Arrange a day/time for a parent interview with the Director of Admissions.
The application process continues until full enrollment is reached. However, applications received by the deadline will be given priority considersation.

Please keep in mind that the Common Referral Forms and Transcript Release Forms should be emailed or sent directly from your child's current school to The GreenMount School. We cannot accept these forms directly from parents/caregivers.
